Ross-shire Women’s Aid are looking to recruit a Women’s Support Worker

 

21 Hours per Week (including evening and week-end work)

£11,188 per annum

The post holder will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to women with experience of domestic abuse on a refuge and outreach basis

Applicants must have a Feminist understanding of domestic abuse and knowledge of the causes and impact this has on women. The successful applicant will have experience of providing one-to-one support from a person centred approach and of assessing need and developing support plans.

 Post is funded until 30th June 2017.

 PVG Disclosure will be required for this post and Full driving licence and access to transport required.
